Early 20th Century French Repousse Brass and Wooden Box with Sailboats Decor

About the Item

Crafted in France, circa 1920, the antique wood and brass coffer is decorated on the top with a repousse sail boat scene in the manner of Claude Vernet. The slant top opens to inside storage upholstered with green velvet. The small decorative trunk is in excellent condition and has the original rich patinated brass finish. Measures: 16" W x 10" D x 9" H.
