Large Antique Shaker Box, Trunk in Bentwood, 19th Century Scandinavia

About the Item

God only knows what this large bentwood Trunk has been through. It has scuffs, ware and patina all-over. Yet it is still very useable, stabile and decorative. Its made in traditional materials. Most of the linen to the inside has worn of. Due to its size; W 72cm/28inch, D 36cm/14inch, H 25.5cm/10inch is can possibly be used/converted into a small coffee table. We have dated it to mid-late 19th century.
