This French Le Tallec parcel-gilt blue-celeste ground porcelain soupière with lid and tray from the mid-20th century has an oval shape and is in the Rococo style. The piece is in the Sèvres style with an oval bombe body centring sides of Rocaille molded details above shaped cartouches. The piece is signed and dated underneath the soupière with a dating system adopted by Le Tallec after 1941 in underglaze blue with a gilded stamp. Rare and superb serving bowl in Limoges porcelain by Camille Le Tallec in the "Cirque Chinois" pattern Hand painted and gilded with fine gold Signed under the base "Dessiné et peint entièrement à la main par Le Tallec à Paris" Date letters RR for 1988 Very good condition, without chips, without nicks, without cracks and without repairs. Diameter: 9.4 In Height: 2 In Model kept and taken over by Tiffany & Co. in the 2000s for its famous "Private Stock" series. The Cirque Chinois pattern is an exquisite pattern with intricate, colorful and delightful scenes. The pattern is made in a "Chinoiserie" style that evokes scenes from 18th century China. The template features whimsical 18th century depictions of Chinese circus performers with fantastical animals, structures, jugglers, trees and flowers... Camille Le Tallec's workshop operated independently from 1930 to 1990 when it was taken over by the American jeweler Tiffany & Co.
