Lidded Box in Marble

About the Item

A lidded box made of white marble with inlays of other types of marble on the top of the lid in pietra dura. The box was manufactured in Southern Europe during the second half of the 19th century. The interior is lined with red velvet, and a mirror is set into the lid. The key is missing. The box has a damage to one of the rear corners.
