About the Item
A very elegant pair of French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. cobalt blue glass, ormolu and white Carrara marble three arm candelabras. Each candelabra is raised on a white Carrara marble and ormolu base below the ormolu support, accented with a beaded trim. Above is a fluted ormolu socle supporting the rich cobalt blue urn. The urn has beaded ormolu swag detail with finely scrolled arms on either side. Above are three curved ormolu arms ending with floral candle cups amidst expertly chased ormolu branches and foliate. All original gilt.
