About the Item
This pair of quite large and substantial antique bronze and crystal candelabras show no maker's marks, but are presumed to have been made in France in circa 1920 in the Renaissance style. Each candelabra has nicely executed cast and gilt bronze arms and cups and nice accents from the surrounds at the top to those on the base. The center of each candelabra features a smoked glass accent between the white marble base and the elaborate cast arms which nicely transitions to the large cut crystal spier that leads to the pointed tip which is adorned with a large cut crystal with a gilt bronze mount. Cascading from the top and cups of each candelabra is a series of crystal chains and drops with varying sized crystals. The stepped white marble bases are accented with beaded gilt bronze surrounds.
