19th Century Pair of Gilt Bronze Baluster Candlesticks

About the Item

A fine pair of French “Flambeaux” gilt bronze candlesticks, dating from the 19th century, and crafted in a traditional baluster form. Rising from a heavy hexagonal base, each one has a turned, shaped and knopped stem, terminating in a simple but elegant capital. The sconce is removable for ease of cleaning. The candlesticks are in excellent vintage condition, with no damage besides age-related wear. They will polish up beautifully!
