Charles Rennie Mackintosh Jugendstil Art Deco Bakelite Candlestick, a Pair

About the Item

This is the most iconic Bakelite piece ever: an elegant pair of Jugendstil tall tapered Bakelite candlesticks. These pieces were manufactured by Linsden Ware, England, in the late 1920s, based on an original design by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. They are of excellent quality, with each section having a screw fitting. The black-brown Bakelite has an elegant marbling and shiny aspect throughout. Measurements: 5.94 in diameter (15 cm) x 14.57 in high (37 cm).
