Freeform Metallic Glazed 'Folded' studio pottery candle holder. Early 20th century. Very unusual and special 'folded' metallic glazed ceramic candle holder. Special design which resembles a folded piece of fabric. Great metallic dark green and polychrome glaze which has a nice craquelé patination. Interesting from every corner and made with a great eye for proportions and scale. It is really something different and a real conversation piece in your interior. A great piece for every collector of special ceramics. This is a piece which is not easy to find and probably a one-off by a artisanal pottery artist. A nice piece for on your dining table, desk or coffee table. Good vintage shape with a few minor spots. Beautiful patination. Not signed.
