This candlelight holder was designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1950s and produced by his own company, Hans-Agne Jakobsson A. B. in Markaryd, Sweden. This item is made of solid metal in brass.
Super rare, here as a set of two. The candleholder holders are new old stock. The boxes are a bit damaged inside and outside.
The original producer tag is still inside the base.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
