Stunning and rare pair of 16th century Italian candle bearing Angel candlesticks depicting male and a female figures from the renaissance period. Each figure is meticulously carved from wood and adorned with opulent gold gilding and polychrome detailing. The renaissance figures each hold a candleholder delicately in their hands. Both are posed in a kneeling position on a giltwood base.
