Pair Of Colonial Williamsburg Hurricane Shades Manufactured By Royal Leerdam

Williamsburg Reproductions, Craft House in Williamsburg, Virginia sold high quality reproductions of antiques belonging to the foundation to raise funds for restorations at Colonial Williamsburg. Royal Leerdam manufactured the hurricane shade to be sold at the Craft House. Two crystal rolled edge hurricane shades manufactured by Royal Leerdam in Leerdam, Holland. The shades were based on a design which was used in the second floor of the governors mansion. Both shades are 9 ½ inches tall with a 3 ¼ inch outside diameter at the bottom, the model number is cw 8. Information for the shades was found in vintage Williamsburg Reproductions catalogs. The hurricane shades are unmarked and have been discontinued
