A finely cast pair of small-scale English brass candlesticks, dating to the turn of the 20th century. Each with an elegant knopped stem rising from a shaped petal-form base, designed to hold slender taper candles—likely for use on a writing desk or occasional table.
The casting shows subtle irregularities and hand finishing, with a rich aged patina and signs of use consistent with their age. The bases are well-weighted and retain a lovely golden surface tone.
