About the Item
One of a Kind, hand wrought, industrial, aluminum, pair of modernist, sculptural, Matisse styled, signed and dated candleholders by American sculptor R. W. Stoller
One holder is hand etched within the artist's signature and dated 1999.
Stoller, is known for his multi-story, urban, outdoor, sculpture installations. He briefly ventured into smaller candle holders and menorahs in the late 90s
Using industrial raw brushed aluminum, he created a very limited collection of works that combined unique austere angular features with curvaceous wavy designs
His designs adhere to the minimalist aesthetic of form and function, along with his use of industrial, raw aluminum materials
These limited candleholders and candelabras, some with Judaic themes, have been displayed by museums worldwide
I believe this is set is one of a kind

Lovely vintage condition. Both bases are the same color, however one appears darker in some photos
