Beautiful antique English grandfather clock, root wood, around 1800
walnut/burr wood. Case with ebonized half columns. Glazed, single-door head with solid columns. Brass dial with black Roman numerals, auxiliary dial "Strike/Silent" and sign. A. Lw. Elfroth London. Pendulum mechanism with two weights (function not tested), striking mechanism on a bell. England, around 1800.
