19th Century Marble mantle clock and calendar.

About the Item

A very good quality 19th Century black and rouge marble mantle clock with calendar. Having a gilded ormolu foliate mount to the top, a gilded clock face with an eight day, hour and half hour striking movement. The white enamel dial beneath with month, day and date set in sky and cloud background. Hand painted porcelain panels depicting seated cherubs. The whole raised on gilded scrolling ormolu feet. Batch 73 LW BAZZ
