Antique Porcelain Mantle Shelf Clock Bailey Banks, 19th Century

About the Item

A hand-decorated with a floral motif for Bailey Banks and Biddle jewelers and gilt through the entire body. The painted porcelain dial on this clock is absolutely charming with hand-painted Arabic numerals in very delicate art writing, faux bois inlay, and a center medallion with intricated gilt carving pattern. This clock has a mark on the back and shows in the photos. It's not quite clear to read.
