About the Item

This elegant antique clock would make an wonderful addition to a mantel, console, desk, or side table. Crafted in Rouen, France, circa 1920, the colorful mantel clock features a rich Rococo influence with a prominent shell motif crowning the top. The table clock is adorned with intricate, hand-painted floral patterns that flow gracefully across its surface, highlighting the vibrant, traditional colors of blue, red, and yellow. The elaborate design is accentuated by elegant scrollwork, giving the piece a sense of movement and opulence. The clock face, encircled by ornate detailing, adds to its antique charm. The intricate, detailed ceramic clock is in excellent condition commensurate age and use.
