Antique chased Ormolu clock case ornamented with hand pierced all over foliate pattern scrollwork, achieved through repousse and engraving, enclosing a pocket watch-style clock bearing Edward F. Caldwell on the clock face. A silver oversized pocket watch rests within a pierced brass book-form case on stand with antique red velvet lining. This fine 'standing clock' appears in a 1909 Caldwell company design record designating it as a sample for Edward F. Caldwell himself Provenance: Edward Theodore Caldwell, son of Edward F. Caldwell Origin: American Date: Circa 1909 Dimension: Size: 12 in. x 10.5 in. x 5 in. This finely-cast 'standing clock' appears in a 1909 Caldwell company design record designating it as a sample for Edward F. Caldwell himself Provenance: Edward Theodore Caldwell, son of Edward F.
