French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Rouge Griotte Marble and Ormolu Clock Set

About the Item

A Magnificent Large Antique French 19th Century Ormolu and Rouge Griotte marble clock set of exquisite craftsmanship. This spectacular clock set is comprising a pair of very large nine arm double tier ormolu bronze and hand carved griotte marble candelabras embellished fine intricate ormolu bronze arms and ormolu bronze mounts applied on the hand carved griotte marble bases, further adorned on circular ormolu bronze feet. The Large Louis XVI Style Griotte marble and ormolu bronze center clock by Raingo Freres, Paris is made of fluted marble oval form body embellished with incredible ormolu bronze wreath mounts and superb foliate ormolu mounts. This superb large clock is further adorned with a very ornate Rouge Griotte covered urn on the very top embellished with ormolu bronze mounts and garlands. Further the oval base of this large clock is decorated with very fine intricate scrolls and rosettes. Finally the center of this magnificent clock is embellished with fine white and black circular enamel dial signed by Raingo Freres.
