French, Napoleon III Bronze and Marble Clock Garniture, C. 1880

About the Item

An outstanding Antique French Napoleon III three piece bronze and marble clock garniture set, c. 1880, with a bronze surmount of a putto playing a bagpipe, over a drum clock, time and strike, with an enamel dial on a sloping stepped base; together with two matching coupes with grape and leaf decoration, on like marble bases, clock- 18.5" high, 11.75" wide and 6.25" deep. Coupes- 9" high, 7" wide and 6" deep.
