An Aesthetic Movement mantel clock with hand painted floral decoration and sunflower to the dial flanked by tramway details with fretted decorations on turned supports with a lower shelf and turned gallery on splayed feet with elongated sunflower decoration to the sides, signed to the dial Howell James & Co to the Queen, London. An identical shorter version is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum
