Large 19th century French Louis XV bronze d'ore clock with patinated bronze bull draped with d'ore bronze garlands, representing the Boeuf Gras, the last meat to be eaten before the fasting of the Lent season before Easter. Beautiful details can be found in winged cherubs on left and right, garlands, clock face, and female figure wearing sandals draped over the top.
