Art Deco Black Vitrolite & Chrome Mantle Clock, English, c1930
About the Item
For your consideration is this fabulous 1930's Art Deco English Mantle clock with a superb modernist feel. Jet black vitrolite ( compressed glass ) more often used in Deco bathrooms for splash backs or panelling if you have ever seen those, which makes a stunning back drop to the stylised Art Deco numerals. All set on a chrome plinth and base. This style and sized clocks are becoming increasingly hard to source and even more so in this condition. Condition is very good, free from damage, with just age related marks on the hands. Recently serviced and now keeping good time.
