Art Deco Onyx, Lapis & Silver Desk Set, By George Betjemann for Aspreys, London, 1921 This beautiful and rare Onyx and Lapis Lazuli desk set is a luxurious ensemble by George Betjemann & Sons, retailed by Aspreys. Crafted from exquisite onyx, consisting of a round box with a lid, a rectangular casket / box featuring a hinged lid, and an oval pen holder / tray incorporating an inkwell. Each piece is meticulously designed with fine Lapis Lazuli insets, adding an opulent touch to the onyx's sleek and polished appearance.
