An elegant and rare 4-piece desk set designed by Carl-Einar Borgström for Ystad Tenn, Sweden. Executed in pewter with details in Bakelite, this Art Deco set includes:
– Inkwell stand with sculptural tropical scene
– Letter opener
– Letter holder
– Second inkwell holder (missing one inner glass container)
Marked with “Ystad Tenn” and designer’s initials. A beautiful example of Swedish functionalist design with artistic flair. The piece displays natural signs of age and use, including surface wear, marks and patina throughout — all consistent with its 1930s origin.
