Telephone Exchange PBX from the 50s/60s
About the Item
Telephone exchange, PBX from the 50s/60s. Manual telephone system used to interconnect several lines in a company or organisation. With a wooden case and metal inserts, a black bakelite handset, a crank and the classic rotary disc dial, Lisbon and Oporto telephones.
The front has a black control panel full of coloured switches, keys and buttons, allowing the operator to redirect calls between extensions and internal and external lines. Above this panel is a set of connection ports for telephone cables. On the left-hand side, the handset is fitted into a side holder.
