This elegant and unique steel and brass photo frame features a velvet back; the interior size of 17 x 12 cm is a standard dimension that makes the frame practical for everyday use. The velvet back adds a touch of luxury and protects the surfaces on which the frame is placed. The combination of steel and brass is typical of many mid-century Italian design objects, with the use of thick, well-crafted metals indicating high quality. Produced between 1965 and 1970 in a Florentine workshop specializing in metalworking, the design of this frame was inspired by Gucci's production of frames. This well-defined style reflects the Italian design of the 1960s and 1970s, which often emphasized the use of fine metals, attention to detail, and careful craftsmanship. The production of thick, well-crafted metal design objects was common among high-end manufacturers of that era. Additionally, it is worth noting that Florence has been a significant center for Italian design and craftsmanship. The frame is in good condition, although it shows some signs of wear. Measurements: width 17 cm, height 22 cm. We use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) for all our shipments to ensure maximum protection and safety of the items.
