About the Item
A stunning French picture or photograph frame made from solid cast bronze (it's a hefty piece) and smothered in gold. Beautifully refurbished, restoring it to it's former glory, ready to be displayed for another 120 years.
The casting is sublime with a stunning floral display incorporating some majestic Roses and the top crowned with a sitting butterfly.
Dating to c.1900, the frame remains in superb condition measuring 9" x 8" x 1" with a glazed aperture measuring 5" x 3 1/2".
