A beautiful and extremely high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI St. Belle Époque period ormolu picture frames signed and stamped Christofle. Each free standing picture frame displays beautiful intricately detailed swaging fabric garlands at the base with lovely richly chased blooming flowers tied at the center with a charming ribbon and draped over knobs at each side. Elegant laurel branches center a fine rosette at each side set on a hammered background with wrap around reeded bands and delicate beaded borders. The striking pierced top crown displays exceptional richly chased berried laurel branches tied with a ribbon all in a superb satin and burnished finish.
