1960s New York Artist John H Manhold Brass Abstract Figurative Sculpture
About the Item
1960s New York artist John H Manhold figurative abstract brass sculpture resting on a black marble base, an substantial sculpture weighting in at 30 pounds. Manhold had a very colorful life, a writer of books, 6 text books on medicine, dentistry and psychology and to add to the portfolio he obtained U.S.C.G Captains and Masters papers. This bronze is in the style of the likes of Jean Arp and others from this period and being a well cast brass that is marked on the sculpture itself and was purchased directly from the artists estate.
