This is a very modern contemporary sculpture. Very playful and striking like Memphis Milano. Glass-and-stainless steel sculptures are all individually made and will bear the minor variations that distinguish handcrafted work, giving each piece characteristics unique unto itself. Exquisite contemporary designs in both large and small metal sculptures with art glass vases. Free standing metal and glass sculptures or wall hanging sculptures are found in this collection. Loretta Eby received her BFA in Glass from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1981, with minors in Printmaking and Drawing. She continued her education at the Penland School of Crafts, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and managing several studios. She opened her own glass-blowing studio in north Georgia in 1985. Jeff Jackson has been involved with glass for 27 years and is entirely self-taught. He owned studios on the Oregon coast and in north Florida before moving to Georgia in 1985. Loretta and Jeff joined forces in 1984 and this collaboration resulted in a new presentation of glass-and-metal sculptures, which are highly prized in many personal and corporate collections. This award-wining team continues to produce innovative glass designs and sculpture, which are currently exhibited in over 300 galleries, and museums throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia.
