About the Item
Mais Alma Marble Collection is a set of sculptures, the result of our study of forms and the art works we pay homage to in our studio. The Mandacaru sculpture is the result of handling two types of Brazilian marble: Emerald Green and Negroni.
This piece is a tribute of the work "A Lua" (1928), by Tarsila do Amaral, who played a key role in the emergence of Brazil’s modernism movement, with her unmistakable signature, and its vivid colors and rounded shapes. The painting was purchased by MoMA in New York in 2019, established the Brazilian artist in the scene of the most relevant and eternalized international modern painters. The intention was to recreate its soul, bringing through shapes and colors harmony, through a fluid and organic design.
