Mid-Century Modern alpha cube sculpture by Sheldon Rose. Great Mid-Century Modern Sheldon Rose alpha cube sculpture, circa 1968. This Brutalist cube sculpture is made of polychrome metal and makes for interesting table art. This interesting piece of abstract art is different for every viewpoint and dates to the late 1960s. Sheldon rose (American, 20th century), attended the Cooper Union in NYC in the 1960s. He is best known for his iconic cube sculptures with raised numbers, letters, and symbols.
