Dimensions: 25 x 400 cm (Varies)
Materials: Fiberglass

In this project Atelier Haute Cuisine strives to create a luminous forest. This forest is formed by fiberglass copies of real trees. Atelier Haute Cuisine tries to capture a moment in time of its life cycle. Each time designers search a new tree to base our lightsculpture on. Therefore every piece that belongs to the no leafs project is unique and documented through its photograph and its gps coordinates. In that way later on you can make a comparison between the captured moment as a light sculpture and the still further growing tree. As a customer, you can also suggest a tree that can be enclosed in this no leafs project
“Atelier Haute Cuisine” that is founded in 2009 by Bernd Tyskens and Benny Conings We don’t do any cooking or other food related stuff. But acting like cooks we mix different ingredients together in a way they contribute to a greater whole. Just like a chef would cook a meal. The outcome can be handmade objects, lightsculptures, furniture, site specific installations and concepts.

Galerie Philia
Galerie Philia is an international contemporary sculptural design and art gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. The gallery is the brainchild of two brothers who share a lifetime passion for art, literature and philosophy. Their distinct academic background sets them apart from their peers, as it sees them following a rhizomatic and transcultural approach in the way they select works. This involves combining elements from multiple cultures in what becomes a network of harmoniously interconnected roots, ultimately revealing the beauty of each unique creation. The gallery’s non-hierarchical curation sits apart from the ephemerality of trends and focuses instead on the true aesthetic quality of the piece – alluring and timeless. Unlike others, Galerie Philia does not focus on a single style – whether minimalist, organic or raw – but rather embraces heterogeneity. The Galerie Philia takes pride in discovering new talents, providing them with multiple international platforms to showcase their latest creations. As well as propelling the newest generation of 21st century collectible design, Galerie Philia also works with internationally known design artists. Galerie Philia has a strong international presence, with galleries in Geneva, New York and Singapore. In addition to their permanent spaces, the gallery organizes temporary group exhibitions and artists residencies in first-class locations around the world.

LES PRECIEUX
These luminous sculptures evolve with the rhythm of the passing of time, their locations and lifestyles of their owners.
Moving reflections with variable ripples, their hypnotic caustics and ephemeral lights are nuanced according to the natural light they receive. The evening, they metamorphose and immerse us in a sweet atmosphere
warm and warm.
Inspired by the world of jewelry and entirely handcrafted, LES PRECIEUX- are made from cast, hammered glass sheets or blown. The structure and finishes are brushed brass, a touch of gold
who has just finished dedicating these unique pieces.
Composed of different layers put into volume, these light sculptures seem to float on the walls they inhabit. A delicate balance that combines the organic and the angular, the translucent and the opaque, the smooth and the textured, the polished and broken, a lightweight structure and an assertive design.
Its first collection features 5 flagship models:
Symbiose

MARIE JEUNET
From grandparents to framers and lighting manufacturers, a childhood spent next to the
workshop of a great master glassmaker, this was what predestined Marie Jeunet to get
passionate about the decorative arts very early on.
To the question «Inanimate objects, do you have a soul? » she answers without the least
hesitation, which she is convinced of.

Marcin Rusak Protoplasting Nature 05 Unique sculptural light with real leaves
By Marcin Rusak
Located in Pireaus-Athens, Greece
In Protoplasting Nature, Rusak combines metal and exotic leaves to make opposing processes — life and death, renewal and decay — evident. A load-bearing structure, formed by hand using welded steel, evokes organic shapes and ornate 17th-century furnishings. In place of a lampshade, Rusak attaches real leaves from the exotic plant Thaumatococcus Daniellii, a rhizomatic herb widely cultivated in central Africa for its exceptionally sweet fruit and useful leaves. The entire sculpture is then coated in zinc...
