Hector Alvarado, originally from Mexico City, moved to Sydney, Australia to pursue his graduate degree in 2000. While in Sydney, at the age of 25, he decided to pursue sculpting because he felt his contributions to the world would be better served in the arts rather than in commercial design.
With several pieces still on display in Sydney, Hector moved to Monterrey, Mexico where he continues sculpting with passion. The cohesiveness of Hector’s designs is a tribute to the level of skill he has in making unique pieces that each play a role in the completed collection.
