About the Item
Mais Alma Marble Collection is a set of sculptures, the result of our study of forms and the art works we pay homage to in our studio. The Suzy sculpture is the result of handling three types of Brazilian marble: Yellow Bamboo, Victoria Falls and Negroni.
This piece is a tribute to the work Le Portrait de Suzy Solidor (1935), by Polish painter Tamara De Lempicka, an icon of the Art Deco movement. Her unmistakable signature is a blend of the modernity of a triumphant industrial society with luxury and sensuality. She wanted her style to be "clean" and elegant, with bright, clear colors and polished lines.
