18th Century Meissen Porcelain Figure, Rhesus Monkey and child, model 1464, circa 1750 . Modelled by J.J. Kändler. Monkey, with outstretched hand holding fruit, and child chained to a tree stump, sitting on an oval mound base applied with flowers and foliage (small chips and Monkey's outstretched arm restored at elbow ) . 7 in. (18 cm.) high.
