About the Item

Bronze sculpture of a goat by P.J Mêne This ancient sculpture was made by the well-known P.J. Mene from France, and dates from approximately 1875, although it may be after his death, and is made in the late Victorian style of the time. The sculpture is a very well executed cast and patinated bronze of a goat looking straight ahead. The mold is very detailed in the treatment of the face and the structure of the coat. The bronze is clearly signed "PJ Mene". Measures: Height: 12.5 centimeters Length: 14 centimeters Depth: 8 centimeters
