About the Item
The Danish artist and Sculptor Peder Evald Madsen was born in 1951 and died last year in his home. These pieces came from his own collection and were sold at auction in 2024. A partially patinated bronze fish/Swordfish in the collection of pieces he called Primeval or urtid in Danish. Distinct brutalist styling much like pieces by Henri Fernandez and Yulian Rukavishnikov.
