About the Item

A large rhinoceros sculpture crafted around the late 1980s, in England, This sculptural piece of animalia, showcases a more simplified and stylized form of the rhinoceros, with a smoother line depicting the usual rotund curves of the rhino’s body. It has been created by casting in plaster and then gilded in a platinum tone, accentuating and highlighting its form. The metallic finish subtly softened with an aged patina. Measuring 50 cm in length, 12 cm in width, and 18 cm in height, this striking ornamental sculpture is ideal for solo display, adding a sense of boldness and interest to your space The rhinoceros is in very good condition for its age and use—a pampered "show" rhino, so to speak. No battles scars or chips to speak of.
