About the Item

French handmade glazed ceramic fish sculpture. Orchie was a ceramic manufacture in the North of France, near Belgium. This manufacture produced ceramics from 1886 to the 80's. Lejan was inspirated by sea and animals. His statues are still in great demand, as he had the art of bringing the inanimate to life. Such is the case with this carp, whose posture and tail position seem ready to sink to the depths. Good condition: a small glaze flaw on the caudal fin Shipping: 12 / 31 / 40 cm 1.7 kg.
