About the Item
"Lovester" is an allusive and ironic marble sculpture that blur the lines between design and art, and evoke pleasure.
This piece that resembles a lobster is one of the four pieces that make up the 'Sex Toys' collection that subtly references eroticism and sensuality in a way that stimulates fantasy and imagination. The project’s name, “Hook Me Up”, is a play on words that alludes to both having a sexual encounter with someone and fishing in the depths of the sea where the collection draws inspiration. The overall aim of the collection is to intrigue and surprise through its playful and multi-layered nature.
This elegant object is hand crafted with marble scraps from big productions, with each sculpture’s color being a surprise as it depends on the available stone.

LATOxLATO
The LATOxLATO design workshop was founded in 2018 by Francesco Breganze de Capnist and Virginia Valentini. Wanderers by calling and Italians by birth, Francesco is originally from Vicenza and Virginia is from Bologna. After graduating from Milan Polytechnic, they began working in the United States. A married couple, they are partners in work and in life, sharing a deep creative and inquisitive bond. This experience abroad, which they continue alternately with their work in Italy, inspires them to invent out-of-the-box designs. Their passion for their roots, for Made in Italy artisanship and the rich heritage of Italian art and architecture blends together with an international and multicultural attitude. This gave rise to the concept of LATOxLATO, which creates objects according to an idea of contemporary luxury. Natural and precious materials, 100% Made in Italy craftsmanship and unusual forms inspired by the rich heritage of Italian art and architecture.
