Mid-Century Modern Monkey Ape Rattan Wicker Hanging Figure 1970s, France

About the Item

Offered is a 1970s Vintage Boho Figurative Animalia Wicker Rattan Monkey ape hanging figure in the style of Mario Lopez Torres. This French Animalia vintage 1960s-1970s woven wicker animal is in wonderful vintage condition, however it does have a little discoloration spot on the belly. Oiling with mineral oil or something similar should remedy this. It has hand-painted face mask and eyes. Found at an estate sale in Nuremberg, Germany. A nice addition to any mid century home.
