About the Item

This adorable giant is powerfully knotted from coarse sisal rope. The position in which the tail and trunk of the elephant stand depends on the mood of its owner... Iron wire in the core provides a cheerful flexibility in the form and shape. The Danish designer Jørgen Bloch is known for his animal figurines of knotted rope. Just think of his famous lion... His work also reminds us of the work of Kaj Bojesen. He also designed animal figurines, mostly in wood. This elephant will look extremely good in a sleek interior, but also in a mid-century modern environment as well as sitting on a classic fireplace or console.
