Rare Bronze Walking Horse of Quadriga Herculaneum, after Paderni de Camillo

About the Item

Impressive bronze of a horse of the Quadriga of Herculaneum. Artist of the original live sized horse was Paderni di Camillo, 1720-1770 Italy and is exhibited at the National Museum of Art in Naples. A rare find patinated in a dark brown to black, mounted on a caramel coloured marble base. The dimensions (excluding the base) are: 22.3 cm length (8.77 inches approx.), 20.3 cm height (8 inches) height, 6 cm (2.3 inches) approx..
