Sergio Bustamante large limited edition hand signed paper-mache of a full size fox.
Sergio Bustamente, born 1949, initially working with paper mache before expanding into other media like bronze, wood and ceramic. This piece in paper mache from his early career depicting a whimsical fox. The fox is hand-signed in black marker with a small highly sought after limited edition of 100.
Dimensions: 38" L, 20" H, 8 1/2" W
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include stable age crackalure throughout, small chip to foot, one tiny indent mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is fantastic.

Sergio Bustamante
Sergio Bustamante studied architecture at the University of Guadalajara, and sold his artwork while in school, beginning in 1960. After graduating, he worked with local ceramicists, eventually opening his studio. In 1972, Bustamante moved to Amsterdam, where he learned more about painting and design. In 1975, he established his Family Workshop Studio in Tiaquepaque, Mexico. His monumental sculptures can be found in several cities, including Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, and Tiaquepaque.
