Two British Pop-Art Porcelain Cats by Toni Davidson & Alan P. Smith

About the Item

What a stylish pair! These iconic studio pottery cats are hand-painted by Alan P. Smith and Toni Davidson – and they’re all dressed up for a night out in swinging London during the 1970s! Mr. Cat proudly sports a chic black flower bow and a crisp white evening suit, complete with a distinguished handlebar mustache and goatee. A true charmer! By his side stands his equally fashionable companion, Mrs. Cat, with her lovely curly locks and a matching floral blouse. Together, they make a purr-fect power couple that will steal the hearts of cat lovers all over the world. A charming pair, beautifully crafted from hand-painted, white-glazed porcelain. Each figure showcases exquisite detailing, with a smooth, glossy finish that enhances their elegant design. The hand-applied decorations add a unique and artistic touch, making them a delightful addition to any collection. The porcelain features some crackling in the glaze, but it does not significantly affect the overall appearance or durability of the pieces.
