Patinated Spelter sculpture on oval marble base depicting the Birth of Pegasus after the original model by Emile Picault (1833-1922) exhibited at the Salon des Beaux Arts in Paris. With the circular mark, Fabrication Francaise Paris Made in France. Brass nameplate reads Naissance de Pegase par E. Picault.
