Born in Villepreux, France, Pautrot displayed a passion for art from an early age and pursued his artistic education in Paris. Pautrot's artistic focus centered on creating small-scale bronze sculptures depicting various animal subjects. He had a remarkable ability to infuse his works with a sense of liveliness and character, capturing the unique personality of each animal he portrayed.
